Particularly for cars that have been stored and are exhibiting signs of fuel tank contamination this part almost always requires replacement. Due to the inherently poor design of this part, and knowing the problems this part has caused many DeLorean owners over the years, we no longer offer this part for sale.
Since 2012, the modern replacement fuel pump/sender module unit, part number 107000 has been the optimal replacement for performance and longterm protection against fuel tank contamination and subsequent fuel system issues. Therefore, as stocks of these individual components are exhausted, they are being discontinued and superseded to the complete fuel pump/sender modules.
