Finally! An affordable, readily available, premium-quality oil filter for the DeLorean!

Many years ago, we would import the original equipment French Purflux oil filters but once the prices went up due to currency exchange, freight and cost increases from the manufacturer, demand dropped and since then owners have been been forced to dart around from one brand to another.

Oil is the blood of your engine, and the filter helps keep it clean. We recommend oil and filter replacement at least once a year. This DeLorean-branded oil filter is a modern replacement for the no-longer-available original and fits perfectly with no interference from the oil pressure sender. Comes with new oil pan drain plug sealing (crush) washer, too.

We spent a fair amount of time working with a supplier of oil filters to develop - exclusively for us - a part with serpentine pleated filter media, like the original Purflux used to have. Not only does our new filter have that, it also has a true coiled relief spring, bypass valve and metal support tube, anti-drain valve, and extra-wide sealing ring.
