DMC QUALITY ASSURED LABEL (PAIR)

These were fitted in either the lower left corner of the windshield or the left front corner of the driver's side fixed glass as seen in period photos. It appears virtually all were removed from cars at the Quality Assurance Centers (QACs) once the cars arrived here in the States, as it was believed the positioning of the decal obstructed visibility of the outside mirror. This reproduction of the Quality Assured decal has been modified slightly from the original design, to avoid confusion with the rare, original parts.

For many year it was believed these were only fitted to the very late production cars, as they were the only cars they were seen on. Apparently, these final cars, not having gone through the QACs, never had these stickers removed. Recently discovered photos show them on much earlier cars in the QAC storage lots, docks at Belfast Harbor and on the transport ships, further that they left the factory with these decals.

Sold as a pair, just in case you get the first one on crooked!
