Back in 2007, we began working with a PhD in Electrical and Computer engineer to develop a modern, microprocessor controlled automatic transmission shift governor (commputer). Originals were the latest in 1970s technology and had proven unreliable in a couple different ways over the years. After thousands of miles of real world road testing, we went into production for commercial sales in 2009 and as of 2022, nearly 1,000 DeLoreans (about 1/3 of the auto trans DeLoreans ever built) are now running our ccomputer.

Microprocessor control allows for greater shifting precision and programmed for moderately more aggressive shift points for better performance. Requires you to send in your old unit first and we remove the "old school" electronics and replace with the modern components. Sending us your existing unit ensures that you get back the same piece and not someone's perhaps less than exemplary condition core.

All units are typically re-worked and shipped in TWO TO FIVE WORKING DAYS, extra time/components necessary beyond board replacement (cut or burnt wiring, for example) will be assessed on an as-needed basis and may increase the cost. Customer will be advised prior to completing any work that may incur additional costs.
