Unlike other reproductions, this one actually fits the stock rubber brake lines!
Late style factory part designed to support the lower speedometer cable. Brake line must be removed to replace this part, but it's quite likely you're still running the original factory, rubber brake lines. You should be flushing and bleeding your brake fluid (DOT4 recommended) every two years or 15,000 miles - that is an ideal time to replace the brake lines if original and check if you need this bracket, as well!
