Lots of places use our DeLorean part numbers as identifiers for their "cross-reference" or "copycat" parts, creating confusion in the marketplace. This 
New Original Stock, or NOS, part traces its origins back to 1982, when the DeLorean factory closed. In some cases, the part has traveled from the original supplier in the US to Dunmurry before making it's way to Ohio and finally Texas!
This New Original Stock DeLorean part connects the cabin fan speed switch to it's respective knob on the center console.
Sometimes they get lost, and in some cases don't allow the knob indicator to align correctly with speed. The factory is known to have received some incorrectly machined parts, and some apparently made it onto cars, and to this day the owners just accept it as a "quirk" of the DeLorean.
These parts have been confirmed to fit and function correctly, so if your DeLorean has a "quirk" here, you can quash that quirk with this part!
