CONSOLE SHIFTER PANEL W/CLOCK HOLE

No working clock but want to replace your damaged or altered early console shifter panel? How about this?

When the trouble-prone console clock was made obsolete by the later radios that had integrated clocks, the factory was left with thousands of the shifter panels with holes for a clock. Rather than discard these panels, one of the DeLorean engineers developed a coin tray that would fit this hole that would allow them to still use these console plates in production.

As the financial situation of the company became more dire, this part - though released for production - was never tooled or produced. We gave it a second chance!

If you have an early panel with a defective clock and your aftermarket stereo has a clock, this makes a great replacement! Even better, if your shifter console plate is damaged, this is an ideal solution and you don't have to worry about finding a clock or other way to fill the hole!
