Biggest complaint about these reproductions has been the "fingernail" guard coming loose from the handle assembly - we heard you and we've fixed that in June 2024!
The originals are made with a plastic handle, and 30+ years of exposure to the elements - sun, UV rays, heat, cold - they all take their toll and one day it'll snap off in your hand - or maybe it has already and that's why you're here now! If so, immediately after adding this to the cart and placing your order, go to the car and put at least one of the windows down. It's not unheard of that both exterior door handles will fail close together.
Our replacements are identical in appearance to the original (made from the original factory engineering drawings) but with a cast zinc handle. Easy to install, they even come with illustrated instructions and (2) SP10183 M6 Aero Nuts, too!
