New Original Stock, or NOS, part traces its origins back to 1982, when the DeLorean factory closed. In some cases, the part has traveled from the original supplier in the US to Dunmurry before making it's way to Ohio and finally Texas!
Man, it's a sad day when one of these gets broken. Thankfully it doesn't happen very often. When it does, it's most often because an inexperienced person has tried to force the engine cover closed without releasing the "engine cover stay". Make sure you explain the proper way to close the engine cover to your significant other, mechanic and anyone else who might touch your car.
Note that this part is only shipped via truck or air freight in a wooden crate to protect against damage in transit. You will be contacted prior to shipping with the additional charges for crating and your choice of shipping method.
