SECONDARY CLUTCH CYLINDER (SLAVE)
More than a decade ago the supply of both new old stock (NOS) and original replacement clutch slave cylinders were exhausted. Rather than fool around with a questionable quality rebuild, we decided to do it the right way - we went to our library of original factory drawings and had new parts made. That's right, the only source for a 100% factory-spec correct clutch slave is from DeLorean Motor Company! Not sure if yours is original or a replacement? Well, they're really tough the see being on top of the transmission and all, but if it doesn't have the part number and DMC logo cast into the side of it - our correct ones do - carefully check it's operation and if questionable, replace it with the right part.
And yes, our clutch master cylinders are made from the factory drawings, too! If you're not sure when the master was replaced, we suggest you do them both at the same time. One more thing - check that flexible line that goes from the clutch master cylinder to the clutch slave cylinder, if it's NOT braided stainless, replace it with our braided stainless line.
