Improved Part is identical or similar to the original part, but improved in design, material or functionality.
Delrin® is the ideal material in parts designed to replace metal. It combines low-friction and high-wear resistance - if your DeLorean's steering column seems to have a lot of all-around movement, and you get a knocking noise when you try to move the steering wheel up and down you need to replace the steering column bushing.
The originals tend to deteriorate completely allowing the column to move around too freely in the footwell. Comes with instructions for replacement.
