Improved Part is identical or similar to the original part, but improved in design, material or functionality.
Original DeLorean battery covers are known for breaking due to the ABS material used in their construction. When we went to have these reproduced, we knew if we wanted better results, we'd need better materials. Rather than use brittle ABS, we use a composite material that is stronger and many times stronger than the ABS used on the factory - or any currently offered reproduction anywhere else!
We also include the vinyl pullstrap, mounting hardware and all three labels (your choice of of Ground/Earth labels) for an install-ready part!
