A/C ACCUMULATOR (DRIER)
Check your current A/C accumulator (silver canister behind the tire in front passenger wheel well) before purchasing a new one! If your accumulator has a hose connection at the very bottom of the canister, you need to purchase additional parts in order to convert to the later style of A/C accumulator.
Parts needed for all conversions:
100750 or 100750A (for cars converted or being converted to R134a) - Longer low pressure hose from accumulator to compressor
Next - check your condenser to evaporator hose. If it has a metal hexagonal hub on the end near the accumulator, you do not need any additional conversion parts. This hub contains an added high pressure switch as well as a safety blow-off valve, so you are all set. If your condenser to evaporator hose does NOT contain this hexagonal hub, you need the following parts as well:
110527 - A/C adaptor block - fits on end of condenser
110526 - Extended length harness for high pressure switch
106917 - High pressure switch
