It wasn't that long ago that quality, affordable shock absorbers - especially for front of the DeLorean - were very hard to find. A popular - but totally wrong for the car - option was a scary cross-reference to shocks from a passenger van! Think of the weight distribution in a passenger van vs the DeLorean.
In 2019 we went to our library of original factory drawings and sent copies along with some NOS fronts that we'd set aside to a supplier to have the fronts reproduced. It wasn't long after that the stocks of NOS rears were exhausted and we repeated the process for these.
We keep these priced affordably because we want everyone to have access to a new, quality, set of shocks (that are compatible with our exclusive Eibach performance springs) for improved ride and handling.
