UPPER DOOR PANEL FOAM REPAIR KIT

Did you know the factory used a very inexpensive open cell foam as cushioning material in between the vinyl covering and the hard backing material? The problem is that over the past 40 years all that foam has disintegrated into dust, leaving only the hard backing material under the vinyl.

If your panels are otherwise good, we sell this complete kit of everything we use in our upholstery shop, along with full-color illustrated instructions, so you can replace your foam yourself using your panels.

• (1) Closed Cell Foam - enough to do both upper door panels
• (1) Can of contact adhesive - enough to door both door panels
• (2) Small work brushes for spreading around the adhesive
• (1) Sheet of Kraft paper for pattern making (all cars are a little different)
• (20) SP10671 Key-hole fir trees (enough to do both door panels with some extra, as these are used other places on the car)
• (20) SP10715 Round hole fir trees (enough to do both door panels with some extra, as these are used other places on the car)
• (1) Full-color illustrated instructions to guide you through this project

If you panels are damaged, cracked, otherwise broken or missing completely, we have the upper door panels as New Original Stock (NOS) parts in both grey and black in left and right, with this foam cushioning already replaced for a quick and easy "ready to install" project!
